Ronik Comprehensive School was borne out of the proprietors’ commitment to complement the efforts of government in the development of education. In pursuance of this, the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Chris. A. Alabi at a management meeting on 29th August 1992 constituted a 5 – member Planning Committee headed by Mr. Debo Luwaji, erstwhile Principal of Ronik School of Business, to provide guidelines and draw implementation plans for the establishment of “ a first class model comprehensive school that would provide quality secondary education to students both nationally and internationally” Ronik Comprehensive School was officially opened on Monday 15th February, 1993 at a short but impressive ceremony, when the three foundation staff Messrs P.O Oluwunmi, I.Y. Aderounmu and Mrs. M.Abdullahi assumed duties.

The abundant grace of God and the untiring efforts of all concerned under the leadership and gentle motherly care of the late Proprietress Mrs. R.O. Alabi has made Ronik comprehensive School what it is today. Life at the school provides harmony. The school is designed to make students feel at home and to provide a happy and purposeful environment.
